In Leviticus 23, Moses records God's directions to the Israelites to keep His appointed times. God provides details as to each of the appointed times. In verse 37, God summarizes the appointed times, saying, "These are the appointed times of the Lord which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, to present offerings by fire to the Lord—burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, each day’s matter on its own day ...."

We are providing here some notes regarding the appointed times to help you understand some of the key Scriptures applicable to each of the appointed times, and a calendar arrangement--enabling you to see each of the appointed times in relation to the other appointed times and to the Hebrew and Gregorian calendar years.

Many scholars have indicated that Jesus fulfilled the first 4 of the appointed times, the Spring Feasts," in His final weeks on the earth and following His ascension. Because the Spring Feast appointed times were fulfilled chronologically, it is anticipated that Jesus will play a critical role in chronologically fulfilling each the remaining appointed times--the Fall Feasts--via, the rapture (Yom Teruah a/k/a Feast of Trumpets), His Second Coming and salvation of Israel (Yom Kippur a/k/a the Day of Atonement), and His setting up of His Kingdom on earth (Feast of Tabernacles). This explains why so many Believers in Christ get excited each year around the time of the Feast of Trumpets--anticipating the possible rapture of the Church.

The notes are provided in a downloadable document as well as in text below.
